The Chooj Spa Mission

It is our mission to help you look and feel as beautiful as possible. We do this by offering a wide range of services which include massage,  facials, spa therapy, hair styling, as well as many cosmetic services such as manicures, pedicures, makeup, eyelashes and more.

We also have two spa locations which are conveniently located on both sides of the Arizona-Sonora border. One location is in Tucson, Arizona and our Mexico office is located in the city of Nogales, Sonora.

CHOOJ is BLUE (in Mayan)

Maya blue is a unique bright azure blue pigment composed of organic constituents, primarily indigo dyes derived from leaves of añil plants compined with palygorskite, a natural clay which, mysteriously is not know to exist in abundant deposits in Mesoamerica. Maya blue first appeared around the year 800 and it was still used in the 16th century in several Convents of Colonial Mexico, but after that, the techniques for its productions were lost in Mexico.
